As the title of this page would suggest, these are other iRobot products which are not necessarily vacuum cleaners. Some of these can be bought with Roombas in “packages” for less than you would get them alone.
iRobot Scooba Cleaning Robots
iRobot now has the Scooba Robots. These do not have anything to do with Scooby-Doo. :P They are actually wet floor scrubbers that are designed to clean kitchen and bathroom floors. They are all very much alike, and the real difference between the three is how much space each robot can scrub without human intervention. These look very cool. iRobot definitely put some interesting technology into these. I would love to see how these would work on our kitchen tile.
- iRobot Scooba 330 – Most basic model. Scrubs a room. Comes with one virtual wall.
- iRobot Scooba 350 – Mid-range robot. Will scrub 1-3 medium sized rooms. One virtual wall included.
- iRobot Scooba 380 – Top of the line. Will scrub 3-4 rooms plus has two virtual walls.
iRobot Verro Pool Scrubbing Robots
There is more! More I tell you. Next up are the iRobot pool cleaning robots, which they call the iRobot Verro Robots. There are three different models with drastically different prices and drastically different features.
- iRobot Verro 100 Above Ground – For above-ground vinyl pools and uses a vacuum system to clean.
- iRobot Verro 300 HydroJet – Designed for in-ground concrete pools and uses hydro jets to aid in cleaning.
- iRobot Verro 500 PowerScrub – Designed for in-ground vinyl, fiberglass, and tile pools. Uses brushes to clean.
iRobot Looj Gutter Cleaning Robots
iRobot has also created a robot for cleaning your gutters. These are called the iRobot Looj gutter cleaning robots. There are three models of Looj. The only real difference between the three is how long they can go without human intervention.
- iRobot Looj 125 – Cleans 150 linear feet of gutter
- iRobot Looj 135 – Good for 150 feet of gutter
- iRobot Looj 155 – Will sweep 300 feet of gutter
That’s it for the consumer products. There is sure to be more coming from iRobot, and when it does, we’ll be covering it!
